Combo GS Foundation
The Civil Services Examination is the most dynamic test in the country. There are three rigorous stages, testing every aspect of a candidate’s knowledge and personality. But apart from this, there is a wide spectrum of subjects that one needs to study - ranging from Ancient History to latest developments in Science and Technology. So does that mean, the UPSC consciously wants to make the exam inaccessible to thousands of students and is just looking for scholars of the highest merit? Absolutely NOT!
After a revamp of the UPSC syllabus in 2013, traditional coaching institutes have adopted a ‘Quantitative’ Approach towards preparation, instead of a ‘Qualitative’ one ,which is characterised by - increase in the number and duration of classes, ‘information dump’, lack of cohesiveness between classes, reading material and mentorship. For aspirants who don’t have any prior knowledge of these subjects, this creates a number of problems -they are not able to rise above facts and rote learning, the exercise of studying is so dull and uninteresting that they are unable to sustain the intensity of their preparation but most importantly, even after completing their full course, they are unable to call themselves ‘UPSC Ready’
All about the program
The Study IAS is unfolding its comprehensive three-stage preparation methodology, to make UPSC attainable for every last aspirant. The course is scientifically designed based on our 32+ years of experience in the field, which has allowed us to understand the challenges aspirants face, at different stages of their preparation. The full course will exhaustively cover all the stages of the examination- including Prelims and Mains, but in an innovative way. The three stages are as follows:
Basic Foundation (Aarambh) Course:
It seeks to address the shortcomings of University education and prepare students for Competitive Exams. It is ideal for beginners or college-going students who are entering the preparation. But more than that, any curious individual who wants to understand the world around them better!

Advanced Foundation (Sampoorna) Course:

G.S Manthan Programme:
This program will act as a 'Paradigm Shift' in preparing contemporary issues. Most coaching institutes like to dump current affairs at the end of their foundation course, like it is a separate subject to be memorised! But Current Affairs is a dynamic entity, that is evolving everyday. With the right approach- it is so easy and interesting to keep track of it!
GS Manthan is meant to declutter the noise and allow students to integrate current affairs easily in their preparation. It seeks to underline ‘How GS Travelled in a Week’.
